Get to Know Your Therapist *

Hi, I’m Molly (she/her). When I’m not working, you can find me reading, spending time with my pets, traveling with my partner, or trying a new coffee shop.

As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, my work is rooted in my own lived experience and a deep commitment to creating the spaces I once needed. I founded Wild Bluebonnet Counseling to offer a warm, grounded sanctuary for those navigating trauma. I believe in a collaborative approach that honors your unique neurotype and identity, helping you reconnect with your strength at a pace that feels safe for you. I show up as a real human, bringing lived experience and radical acceptance to every session.

Rooted in Lived Experience

My path to being a therapist began long before my clinical training. As a queer and neurodivergent person, I spent years navigating systems that weren’t built for minds like mine. This lived experience is the heartbeat of Wild Bluebonnet Counseling.

I know what it feels like to seek safety in a world that often feels overwhelming. I do this work because I believe that trauma recovery shouldn’t mean “fixing” who you are, but rather coming home to your most authentic, grounded self within a supportive community.

The Pillars of My Practice

A room with white painted brick walls and a large window with wooden trim. There are several potted plants, including a large plant with long, pointed leaves on a stand, and a smaller plant with broad, shiny leaves on the floor. A yellow upholstered chair with a black base and wheels is positioned to the right of the plants. The room has a light-colored wooden floor with some dirt marks on the wall near the ceiling.
Two people sitting at a white table, each holding a mug of coffee or tea. One person is wearing a dark jacket, the other a light-colored sweater.
Crowd of people at a Pride parade with many rainbow flags under a partly cloudy sky, with historic buildings in the background.
You are the expert on your own boundaries, and we move only at the pace that feels safe for you.
We work as partners to discover tools and perspectives that actually resonate with your lived experience.

Consent

Collaboration

I acknowledge how systemic injustice impacts mental health and actively resist marginalization.
